Project Overview

The project goal is to create a user friendly, informative app to provide coaching for parents, military service personnel, and any other clientele​ for Color Works. Our big picture goal is to get this app up and running so it is available to our military families, especially those who are at the highest risk of suicide​. The senior design team will be creating the entire app from scratch including the UX/UI frontend design. The app will include a personality quiz, account creation, links to podcasts and other mental health websites within the organization.

This App will help make our ColorWorks material a core component of the Special Forces Charitable Trust new suicide prevention platform where families have 24/7 access to parenting and relationship tools to help cope with their high levels of stress and anxiety.​ Through clear UX/UI design, supportive information, and interactive activities we hope to bring relationship conflicts amongst people down and as a result lower suicide rates amongst military service people as well

The app will consist of a 3 tier payment system and have some of the following specifications:

• Tier 1: free for individuals, create a profile, can take quiz and store their information, short but useful color descriptions, eventually prompt for paying for tier two, basic level hints and tips (3 stress behaviors, 4 traits, 6 life hacks for work relationships and family)
• Tier 2: All features of the free app, extra profile, 3-word analyzer, building blocks of triangle, hints and tips (expanded life hacks, work, love, recharge, parenting, leadership)
• Tier 3: For family or teams (up to 10 profiles), all features of tier 2, entire group profiles (family or team up to 10), communication styles, Ask, Be, Do, CALM, Activities – bead boxes, conflict square’s building trust.
